What's your Ayurvedic Sex Type?

Do you know your Ayurvedic dosha and why this matters for a healthy sex life?

Here is the truth- Fulfilling sexual expressions are REALLY important, which is why Kama, or sensual intimacy, is one of the pillars of the Vedic culture and human happiness.

Also fact- many of you have been conditioned to feel ashamed about your sexual desires, and have stuffed, repressed, or downright not even known what you like and what brings you pleasure.

I'm talking about the way your Ayurvedic constitution shows you how to have  fulfulling sensual experiences that rejuvenate you instead of depleting you.

Because when you don’t feel connected to your sex, sensuality, and even your partner- all kinds of problems can come up, including feeling bored in the bedroom, avoiding sex because it doesn’t feel good even though you are horny af, and rifts between you and more or less sexually desirous partners.

Fun fact- your dominant dosha type speaks to what kind of sexual play you will like and how often you should have it! Because here is the truth- Sex is a SUPER important part of life, and you should understand your body type, your erotic blueprint type, and what herbs support it for more fulfilling sensual experiences. So read on to learn about yourself, your partner, and how to connect to your archetype for a sexier, more fulfilling, and healthier sensual experience.

The Adventurer- Vata people- You like variety in all things, including where you have sex and possibly who you have sex with. The plus side of this type is a sense of willingness to try anything! The down side of this type is that physically you need to careful of how much sexual energy you give out because it can really deplete you when in excess. You are into how things feel more than they look, and tend towards being an energetic, sensual, kinky, or shapeshifter erotic blueprint type. This type does well with herbal elixirs after sex to keep vitality strong.  Best herb- Ashwagandha

Hot Blooded- Pitta people. Pitta people are very visual, and they tend to want to have sex a lot when compared to the other doshas. This archetype is turned on by beautiful outfits and rendezvous places, as the visual component is very strong. They lean towards sexual and kinky erotic blueprint types. Pitta people should be careful to moderate their sexual output because their insatiable sexual desire can lead them to a sexual frequency that wears them out. Pitta people will often feel very frustrated if they can’t release sexually, and need to make sure they have outlets for their erotic energy that don’t put all the pressure on their partner to meet their needs, esp if they are dating a Vata type. Best herb- Shatavari

The All Nighter- Kapha people- you have the most stamina of all the doshas, but may need a little extra push to get you in the bedroom.  And once you get going- well, I said All Nighter for a reason You have the greatest capacity to have frequent sex without worrying as much about depletion. This archetype has slower fire, but once you get that fire lit, it’s unstoppable. Kapha people love emotional connection, and tend towards being an energetic or sexual archetype. They can see beauty in all body types, and are highly attuned to others needs. They need to be mindful about people pleasing, and should practice expressing their desires. Best herb- Gokshura
